I guess, that our network providers are trying to make life easy for internet users through their introduction of cheap night plans. Airtel has thus chosen to follow the footsteps of MTN night packages by launching their Night plan offers as well.
To enjoy The new Airtel night plan, you have to be a SmartTRYBE user. In other words, just migrate to Airtel SmartTRYBE by dialing *312# then choose 1.
After successful migration, dial again *312# and you will see all the listed options.
- Airtel night plan for 1GB which cost N500, reply with 2 - valid for 7 days
+ Airtel night plan for For 500MB which cost N25 and 1.5GB which now cost N200, reply with 3 from 12am - 5am
- For 200MB which cost N200 + 30Min call, reply with 4 - Weekend: Sat and Sun
Also noted that the call tariff on SmartTrybe features 11k/s calls charges for all national networks (N6.60K/min). The night plans are actually being adjusted. Most times, you may not have them activated every night just like before but probably in every 2 nights.
MTN Night Plan
For the MTN Night Plan, first of all, ensure you are in Mtn Pulse as other plans may not work. You can do this by dialing *406# to migrate to mtn pulse.
Once that is successful. Go to your text message box and send NIGHT to 131. Once your request is received, you will receive a message for a successful activation of 500MB for just N25 from 12am to 4am.
Note that you dont need any application to use either your airtel or mtn night plans after successful activation. Just turn on your data and begin to browse.
